About Us
Lock & Key is a Koreatown speakeasy built around the craft of the cocktail and the experience of discovery. Behind our unmarked door, guests find a moody, intimate room where precision, hospitality, and showmanship come together every night. We hold our bar program to a high standard. We're looking for a bartender who takes the craft seriously and treats guests warmly.
The Role
We're hiring an experienced mixologist/bartender to execute our cocktail program at a high level, contribute to menu development, and deliver memorable service in a fast-paced, high-volume speakeasy environment.
What You'll Do
- Craft classic and original cocktails with consistency, speed, and precision
- Maintain deep knowledge of spirits, techniques, and our seasonal menu
- Deliver engaging, polished hospitality that fits the speakeasy experience
- Collaborate on new cocktail and menu development
- Manage well organization, prep, batching, and par levels
- Uphold cleanliness, stocking, and California health and responsible-service standards
- Help train and support junior bar staff as needed
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of craft cocktail bartending experience (speakeasy or high-volume craft bar preferred)
- Strong command of classic cocktails, technique, and spirit categories
- Speed and accuracy under pressure without sacrificing quality
- A genuine hospitality instinct and a team-first attitude
- Valid California Food Handler and RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certifications, or ability to obtain before first shift
- Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be 21+
