Front Desk Receptionist (Bilingual)

The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, thrives in a fast-paced medical environment, and has a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.This position plays a critical role in creating a positive patient experience while ensuring the efficient operation of our Jacksonville clinic.ResponsibilitiesGreet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.Perform patient check-in and check-out procedures.Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and required documentation.Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system.Assist patients with intake forms and office procedures.Communicate effectively with providers, case managers, attorneys' offices, insurance representatives, and staff.Collect copayments and process patient payments when applicable.Scan, upload, and maintain medical records and other documentation.Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and medical records requests.Ensure the front office remains organized, efficient, and compliant with company policies.Support clinic operations and assist with additional administrative duties as assigned.QualificationsRequiredBilingual in English and Spanish with strong verbal and written communication skills.Previous experience in a medical front desk, medical receptionist, or healthcare administrative role.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Excellent communication and customer service skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.Professional demeanor, reliability, and strong work ethic.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.PreferredExperience working in a chiropractic, orthopedic, pain management, surgical, or personal injury practice.Experience with Athenahealth (AthenaOne) or similar EMR systems.Knowledge of Personal Injury (PI), PIP claims, auto insurance, and workers' compensation cases.Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare scheduling processes.What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate is a dependable professional who can quickly learn internal processes, maintain a high level of accuracy, and provide outstanding service to every patient.
