Job Description As a Security Officer Screening Operations in Tempe, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by screening individuals and materials, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting smooth operations. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.40 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue04:00 PM - 01:00 AMWed04:00 PM - 01:00 AMThur04:00 PM - 01:00 AMFri04:00 PM - 01:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies. Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and/or materials entering or leaving the distribution location in accordance with established procedures. Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking areas, the business, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
