Home Services | Inside and Outside Sales Leadership Location: Greater Providence / Southeast Massachusetts A fast-growing residential services company is seeking a hands‑on Director of Sales to build, scale, and lead its sales organization. The company already has strong lead flow, an inside sales function, an outside sales team, and significant growth momentum. The next step is bringing in a proven home-services sales leader who can create the systems, training, structure, and accountability needed to scale. This is not a maintenance role. The Director of Sales will be expected to assess the current organization, improve performance, build repeatable processes, and develop a sales team that can grow consistently. Must-Haves Proven home-services industry experience Prior success as an individual sales producer before moving into leadership Experience managing and developing sales teams within home services Demonstrated ability to scale a sales team in headcount, performance, or geographic reach Experience overseeing both inside sales and outside field sales Strong process‑building experience, including onboarding, training, scripts, playbooks, CRMworkflows, KPI reporting, and performance management Ability to step in immediately and train, coach, and improve the current team Measurable examples of improving close rates, conversion, revenue, productivity, or team growth Experience recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retaining sales talent Hands‑on leadership style with comfort conducting ride‑alongs, role‑plays, call reviews, and field coaching Responsibilities Lead and develop both inside and outside sales teams Manage existing sales leaders and improve communication between teams Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain high‑performing sales professionals Build a consistent sales process from initial lead through completed sale Create sales playbooks, scripts, objection‑handling frameworks, and training programs Conduct weekly training, role‑plays, call reviews, ride‑alongs, and field coaching Improve speed to lead, appointment setting, follow‑up, close rates, and revenue Establish clear CRM expectations, pipeline stages, KPI reporting, and accountability Identify performance gaps and address them through coaching, process improvement, or personnel decisions Develop managers and build the leadership structure needed for future growth Partner with executive leadership on sales strategy, forecasting, hiring, and expansion What Success Looks Like Stronger inside‑to‑outside sales conversion Improved close rates and revenue production A consistent onboarding and training process Clear KPIs and sales reporting Better CRM and pipeline discipline A stronger recruiting and hiring process Improved accountability across the sales team A scalable sales organization prepared for continued growth Preferred Industry Backgrounds HVAC, Plumbing, Roofing, Solar, Windows and doors, Remodeling, Restoration, Siding, Home improvement, Basement waterproofing, Foundation repair, Other high‑ticket residential sales environments This is an opportunity for a proven home‑services sales builder to take ownership of the entire sales function, work directly with executive leadership, and create a high‑performing organization with significant earning potential. #J-18808-Ljbffr
