General Manager

Pinnacle Search has been retained to identify a General Manager to lead the Dallas, Texas operation of an established luxury outdoor design-build company. This is a senior operating leadership position with responsibility for the overall performance and growth of the Dallas business. The General Manager will have broad ownership across P&L, sales, construction and project delivery, operations, people, customer experience and market development. The company has a long history in the design-build industry and delivers sophisticated outdoor environments ranging from luxury residential projects to large-scale developments and commercial projects. The Opportunity The General Manager will operate the Dallas branch as an accountable and scalable business unit. This leader will connect sales, design readiness, construction capacity, project execution and financial performance into one operating plan. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands how to grow a business while maintaining strong execution, financial discipline and a high level of customer service. Key Responsibilities Own the branch P&L, including revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, profitability, cash flow and collections. Develop annual budgets, forecasts and operating plans. Lead local sales performance, pipeline management, forecasting and business development. Build relationships with builders, developers, customers and strategic partners throughout the market. Oversee construction and project delivery across safety, quality, scheduling, cost, production and customer communication. Translate sales pipeline and project backlog into appropriate staffing, trade, material and equipment capacity. Lead and develop the branch's sales, construction and operational leaders. Establish clear goals, KPIs, accountability and operating rhythms across the organization. Identify opportunities to expand the company's presence and reputation throughout the Texas market. Serve as the senior local executive and maintain close alignment with corporate leadership. Candidate Profile 10+ years of progressive leadership experience across operations, sales, construction or project delivery. Demonstrated responsibility for a branch, region, division or business-unit P&L. Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, margin management and operational performance. Experience leading managers and building high-performing teams. Background in luxury residential construction, landscape/design-build, specialty contracting, land development, outdoor living, pool construction or builder-facing services is preferred. Experience managing complex construction or project-based operations. Strong customer and relationship management skills. Entrepreneurial operating style combined with the discipline to work effectively within a larger organization. Dallas/Fort Worth market knowledge and relationships are highly desirable.
