Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour day shifts (3 AM – 3 PM)
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• One weekend shift weekly or two weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least one holiday shift during contract
• 16-week contract
• Flexibility required; no block scheduling; must float as needed

Key Qualifications:

• Active NY RN license and current AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in acute med-surg/tele and oncology
• For non-U.S. candidates: at least 2 years’ U.S. work experience
• Preferred: 2 years’ recent experience in acute med-surg/tele; Chemo certification
• Willingness to float between units when required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from Rochester, NY

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology and medical-surgical patients—osteomyelitis, chemotherapy, SBO, sepsis, and more
• Monitor, assess, and communicate patient status while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Adhere to hospital protocols, ensuring patient safety and consistent, high-quality care
• Respond to rapid changes in acuity with sound clinical judgement and compassion
