You’ll partner across business, technology, risk, compliance, and audit teams to strengthen our control framework. Your work will support informed decision-making and proactive risk management, helping us deliver on our commitment to operational excellence and regulatory compliance.Job ResponsibilitiesLead governance reporting, risk assessments, and thematic analysis across the global Payments organizationDrive enhancements to the control environment by partnering with business, technology, risk, compliance, and audit teamsRepresent Payments in regulatory and annual impact assessments, ensuring completeness and audit readinessDeliver critical regulatory communications and socialize updates to senior stakeholdersAct as a subject matter expert on policy and standard governance requirementsIdentify and manage control gaps, governance inefficiencies, and emerging risks through independent analysisImplement practical, risk-based solutions to strengthen the Payments control frameworkChampion automation and data-driven decision-making by streamlining assessments, reporting, and controls processesLeverage data, analytics, and tooling (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, PEGA) to drive transparency and risk mitigationLead meetings and participate in working groups on operational risk events and governanceDevelop and deliver executive-level presentations and reporting that translate complex risk topics into actionable insightsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsExperience leading governance, regulatory, audit, remediation, or firmwide initiatives across complex, matrixed organizationsStrong understanding of Payments products, processes, risks, and control frameworksAbility to identify emerging themes, assess business impact, and clearly communicate insights to senior stakeholdersConfident communicator and influencer with the ability to challenge the status quo and build consensusDemonstrated ability to operate independently, prioritize competing demands, and drive outcomes with urgencyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, translating complex issues into actionable recommendationsBachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and proven track record delivering results across Governance, Controls, Risk, Audit, or Financial ServicesPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsExperience identifying operational efficiencies and leveraging data, reporting, and automation tools to enhance governanceCollaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with strong ownership and accountabilityAbility to partner effectively across global teamsFamiliarity with data analytics and automation tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, and PEGAExperience developing executive communications, status reporting, and senior leadership forum summariesPrior experience serving as a primary point of contact for auditors and testersKnowledge of regulatory governance requirements and control environment strategy**To be eligible for this role, you must be authorized to work in the United States.
