Job Summary:

Warren Nursing & Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to work on a Per Diem (PRN) basis in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Warren, OH. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality physical therapy services to our patients, helping them achieve their goals and regain independence. Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed physical therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients with a variety of conditions, including but not limited to orthopedic, neurological, and cardiovascular disorders.
• Conduct physical therapy treatments, such as exercises, stretches, and modalities, under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes and concerns to the physical therapist and other members of the healthcare team.
• Participate in patient education and training, providing guidance on self-care and disease management.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies or related field.
• Current PTA certification in the state of Ohio.
• 0-1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
