About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP of Strategic Corporate Partnerships with a focus on mortgage. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a national mortgage affinity partnership strategy that is in line with a retail, branch-driven mortgage lending model. This includes identifying and building partnerships with various financial institutions, real estate entities, and fintechs, as well as sourcing, structuring, and closing partnership agreements while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The role also involves building executive-level relationships, designing lead flow, driving field adoption, and owning performance metrics to continuously refine partnership models and strategies. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in mortgage partnerships, affinity programs, business development, or financial institution partnerships, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the mortgage industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing partnerships that generate mortgage referral business, supporting a distributed mortgage salesforce, and possess a strong understanding of mortgage origination and market dynamics. Strong communication, organizational, and relationship management skills are essential, as is experience working with financial institutions lacking mortgage scale. Knowledge of mortgage industry regulations and compliance, particularly RESPA, is also preferred. The role requires a strategic thinker who can drive mortgage production through effective partnership management and is adept at working with legal and compliance teams to ensure all agreements meet regulatory requirements.
