Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Elgin, IL, 60124. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing a variety of maintenance tasks. If you have a knack for fixing things and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs.
Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with other team members to improve facility operations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
Fabrication experience.
Welding experience.
Plc Troubleshooting.
Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
Preventive Maintenance.
