Position Type: Full-Time, Regular Schedule: 40 hours/week About the Role If you enjoy being out in the community, staying active, and driving heavy-duty automated or side-load equipment, this is the job for you! GFL Environmental is looking for a CDL Residential Driver to join our team. You'll serve as a frontline hero in our neighborhood streets, ensuring local communities stay clean, safe, and green. What You’ll Be Doing Neighborhood Service: Drive automated or side-load residential collection trucks through assigned neighborhood routes. Smart Operation: Safely operate hydraulic mechanisms to lift, dump, and return residential waste and recycling carts. Community Champion: Wave to neighbors, represent GFL with a friendly attitude, and keep residential streets clean and safe. Safety & Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip safety checks to ensure your rig is in top shape. What We’re Looking For Credentials: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B). Experience: 1 years of CDL driving experience (residential route experience is a plus!). Physical Fitness: Ability to step in and out of the cab frequently and lift up to 50 lbs when necessary. Safety First: Excellent spatial awareness for driving down tight residential streets and near parked vehicles. Why Drive with GFL?
