Workday Time & Absence, Senior Product Manager

Key Responsibilities Serve as the Workday Time Tracking and Absence SME, owning configuration, maintenance, and optimization of: time entry templates/time types/time blocks/eligibility rules; absence plans/accruals/carryover rules/balance caps/validations; work schedules/calendars/period schedules/approval workflows. Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and regional stakeholders to translate business and policy requirements into scalable Workday solutions. Lead end-to-end delivery of Time & Absence initiatives (requirements, design, configuration, testing, deployment, hyper‑care). Design, build, and maintain Workday Time & Absence reports and dashboards. Configure and maintain Business Processes, condition rules, notifications, and security for time/absence transactions. Ensure integration with Payroll, downstream calculations, and reporting. Troubleshoot complex issues involving time entry, absence requests, approvals, balances, and payroll impacts. Support global/regional rollouts, new country deployments, and regulatory/policy changes affecting time/absence. Execute and support unit/integration/regression testing and bi‑annual Workday releases. Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and self‑service improvements. Review Workday release notes, assess impacts, and recommend adoption of new features. Maintain configuration documentation and audit‑ready change control artifacts. Ensure compliance with labor regulations/internal controls/SOX‑relevant processes (as applicable). Stay current with Workday updates; develop job aids/support materials and share knowledge. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years relevant experience; OR Master’s degree and 6+ years; OR PhD and 2+ years. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Information Systems/Business/related field (or equivalent experience). 8+ years hands‑on Workday HRIS experience with deep Time Tracking and Absence Management. Proven experience configuring complex Time & Absence rules, accruals, eligibility, approvals, and Payroll integrations. Experience with global/multi‑country Workday environments and country‑specific time/leave requirements. Strong knowledge of Workday Business Process Framework, security roles, calculated fields, validations, and reporting. Experience leading/supporting full lifecycle implementations or major enhancements for Time & Absence.
