Manual QA Tester

Job Title
Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and maintain test cases in Excel based on functional and technical specifications.
- Execute manual test cases and report defects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not compromised by new changes.
- Track and manage defects using a bug tracking system, ensuring timely resolution.
- Participate in test planning, test design, and test execution activities.
- Provide clear and concise test reports and documentation.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Manual Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
- Proficiency in writing and managing test cases in Excel.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting is a plus.
