Electrical Project Manager *SIGN ON BONUS*

Job Description Salary: Open to discussion Role and Responsibilities A Project Manager plans, directs, or coordinates, through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the electrical construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. They may oversee multiple job sites’ organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Other duties may include: Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems. Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines. Prepare and submit estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports. Responsible fiducially for each project. Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with environmental regulations. Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, or other regulations. Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems. Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods. Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper construction procedures are being followed. Prepare contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors. Develop or implement quality control programs. Adhere to safety procedures (Code and OSHA Requirements); Perform safety inspections. Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to representatives of the owner or developer, including administrative staff, workers, or clients. Resolve customer or public complaints. Requires making decisions that affect other people, the financial resources, and/or the image and reputation of the organization. Other additional related tasks and duties as needed. Qualifications and Education Requirements Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent Associate’s degree or further education in a related field encouraged 5+ years’ experience as a journeyman/foreman plus managerial experience3 Minimum of OSHA 30 completed. ****Sign on bonus offered! **** Work Environment This job operates in a field environment. Electricians may be involved in construction or maintenance usually work a 40-hour, five-day week plus overtime when required. Working conditions can change dramatically from one job to another, varying from indoors in clean conditions to outdoors on scaffolding, and to confined and restricted locations. May require working in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions; exposure to contaminants and exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable. The office role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands This is largely an active role. Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials; Requires repetitive movement; climbing ladders, scaffolds, or poles; standing, walking and running; using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls; and bending or twisting. The office is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
