Cayanan Physical Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in Alexandria, Virginia. Work Environment

The position is based in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Alexandria, VA, where we provide a dynamic and collaborative work environment. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet flexible work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored physical therapy treatments to patients, incorporating their personal health goals and specific needs into each care plan.
• Manage a balanced patient load to ensure substantial attention and time for each individual, promoting optimal recovery.
• Utilize expertise in orthopedic and sports medicine to apply effective, non-invasive treatment modalities.
• Develop comprehensive rehabilitation programs, combining a variety of therapeutic techniques to support patient progress.
• Focus on cost-effective treatment strategies that enhance mobility and reduce the need for surgical interventions.
• Motivate and inspire patients throughout their recovery journey, ensuring a high level of engagement and adherence to treatment protocols.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for seamless record-keeping.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create an integrated approach to patient care, ensuring all aspects of their health are addressed.
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and adapt strategies based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes.
• Advocate a healthy lifestyle among patients by teaching strength training, flexibility exercises, and coordination techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• Current and active Physical Therapist license in Virginia with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.

• Ability to design and implement effective exercise regimens tailored to patients' conditions.
• Familiarity with using electronic medical records, especially WebPT, for documentation.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary physical therapy practices backed by research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient clinic setting, particularly in sports medicine or orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Prior roles that involved collaborative care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with specialized patient populations, such as athletes or individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time PT role offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
