This role will focus on auditing and validating data management, processing, and reporting environments as part of a broader regulatory remediation initiative.The ideal candidate combines a strongInternal Audit backgroundwith hands-on technical expertise acrossSQL, Python, data analytics, and data management. This individual must be comfortable reviewing how data moves through complex environments, evaluating underlying code and transformations, testing controls, and documenting audit conclusions. Key ResponsibilitiesAudit data management systems, data processing solutions, and data consumption processesReview and validatePython codeused to process and transform dataReview and validateSQL queries and statementsused to transform data and generate resultsAssess Database Management Systems (DBMS) and associated data management processesAudit reporting and analytics solutions, including platforms such asAlteryxEvaluate derived datasets, data cubes, reports, and ad-hoc analyticsTrace and validateend-to-end data lineageacross processing, management, reporting, and analytics environmentsEvaluate data access, protection, and associated controlsTest internally developed data and reporting controlsSupport regulatory remediation, issue validation, and audit testingDevelop clear, audit-quality workpapers and communicate findings to stakeholders Required Qualifications7+ years of relevant audit experienceStrong, hands-onInternal AuditexperienceExperience withinglobal banking or financial servicesSignificantdata analytics and/or data auditexperienceStrong hands-onSQL and PythonskillsAbility to read and validate SQL and Python code from an audit perspectiveExperience auditing data processing, transformations, and reporting/analytics environmentsStrong understanding ofdata lineage, data management, and data controlsStrong audit testing, documentation, and workpaper development skillsAbility to independently manage testing and communicate conclusionsExcellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred QualificationsConsent order and/or issue validation experienceRegulatory remediation experienceAlteryx experienceDBMS audit experienceExperience auditing internally developed banking controls About INSPYR Solutions Technology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
