Attorney - Landlord Tenant (HOUSTON)

Job ID#: 38640 Our client, a growing Texas-based law firm, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landlord-Tenant Litigation Attorney to join our Houston office located in the Galleria area. This position is ideal for an attorney with at least one year of litigation experience who is looking to develop courtroom skills in a fast-paced, high-volume practice environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling a large caseload, appearing regularly in court, and working closely with property management companies, landlords, and real estate professionals throughout Texas. Responsibilities Manage a high-volume docket of landlord-tenant litigation matters Handle eviction proceedings, lease disputes, collections, and related litigation matters Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements Attend hearings, mediations, and trials in Justice and County Courts Communicate directly with clients, property managers, and opposing counsel Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes efficiently Ensure compliance with Texas Property Code and applicable court procedures Maintain accurate case management records and meet litigation deadlines Qualifications Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas Minimum 1 year of litigation experience preferred Experience with landlord-tenant law, collections, or high-volume litigation is a plus Strong courtroom presence and oral advocacy skills Ability to manage deadlines and multiple matters simultaneously Excellent written communication and organizational skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Bonus opportunities Health and other benefits available Mentorship and hands-on courtroom experience Professional growth opportunities within a growing Texas firm Convenient office location in the Galleria area Candidates who thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment and enjoy courtroom advocacy are encouraged to apply.
