This role involves translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, collaborating with SAP Functional Consultants and client stakeholders, and preparing detailed technical documentation to support system enhancements and new implementations. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in SAP ABAP development for HANA, extensibility frameworks, and SAP integration technologies. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on development proficiency, and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, enterprise project environments.Key responsibilities:Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical design and application architectureCollaborate closely with SAP Functional Consultants and client teams to evaluate alternatives and recommend optimal technical solutionsPrepare technical specifications, diagrams, and coding logic flowcharts for enhancements, modifications, and system installationsDevelop complex RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows)Build and enhance applications using RAP ABAP, OData services, BADIs, User Exits, Forms, and WorkflowsIntegrate SAP systems with middleware and external systems via IDocs, APIs, Files, SOAP, and SAP Integration SuiteApply advanced SAP ABAP for HANA development techniques including AMDP, CDS-based processing, and performance tuningImplement key user and developer extensibility within SAP S/4HANASupport testing cycles, troubleshoot defects, and ensure high-quality technical deliveryHere's what you need:Minimum of a 2-year degree and 5 years SAP development experience OR 10 years of hands-on experienceAdvanced proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANAStrong experience with RAP ABAP, OData, BADIs, User Exits, Forms, Workflows, and RICEFW developmentExperience integrating SAP using IDocs, APIs, File-based integrations, SOAP, and SAP Integration SuiteProficiency in key user and developer extensibility frameworks within SAP S/4HANAPreferred: experience with SAP Core Data Services (CDS); Fiori experience is a plusEligibility requirements:US Citizen (no duals)Ability to obtain a client Public Trust government clearanceThe pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:$100,200 - $203,400 USD
