Accounting Manager

Killian, Davis & Richter, PC is seeking CPA or an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the firm's accounting operations and provide strategic financial support to leadership. This position includes a comprehensive transition period with our current Accounting Manager. Position Summary Responsible for all accounting operations, banking, trust accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, employee benefits administration, and cash management. Manage cash flow, banking activities, and reconciliations. Oversee accounts payable, vendor payments, and corporate credit cards. Submit semi-monthly payroll to payroll subcontractor and administer benefits and PTO. Manage trust accounting and personal injury client distributions. Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and year-end tax workpapers. Coordinate lines of credit and banking relationships. Ensure compliance with payroll, tax form 1099, Workers' Compensation and Form 5500. Maintain Accounting through companies software including, SmartAdvocate, iSolved, and Microsoft Office systems. Produce financial reports and support firm leadership. Required Qualifications CPA or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of progressive accounting experience. Payroll and financial statement experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
