Wet Clean Process Development Engineer

Position Summary The Fab Engineering New Technology team at Samsung Austin Semiconductor supports NTI strategic initiatives. In this role, you will complement Process Integration engineering by developing, strengthening, and qualifying new processes to address critical customer needs. Responsibilities include production qualification of new processes—proposal, experimental execution, data analysis—to ensure high quality and manufacturability for high‑volume semiconductor foundry manufacturing. Role And Responsibilities Engineering solutions for cleans and wet‑etch processes under production development and qualification. Process uniformity improvements. Defect improvement initiatives. Process optimization for manufacturing. Process margin evaluation. Skills And Qualifications Minimum 10 years of engineering experience in semiconductor manufacturing or process development with emphasis on cleans and wet‑etch processes. Extensive knowledge of process fundamentals and volume manufacturing challenges. Track record of continuous improvement in cleans/wet engineering processes. Prior experience with DNS SU3XXX model is strongly desired. Strong data analysis skills. Capable of conveying complex engineering concepts clearly to non‑expert audiences.
