Packaging Machine Operator - Entry Level

Job Description

Kelly is hiring Packaging Machine Operator – Entry Level in partnership with Perrigo in Allegan and Holland, MI. No previous experience is required, making this a great opportunity to start a career in pharmaceutical manufacturing with hands-on training and opportunities for advancement.

Pay: $18.00–$19.50/hr
1st, 2nd & 3rd Shifts Available
Temp-to-Hire
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – TRAINING PROVIDED

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate packaging machinery
• Fill, secure, and label containers according to specifications
• Verify packaged products against packing documentation
• Adjust machine settings to maintain accuracy and production requirements
• Read and follow diagrams and work instructions
• Position and secure machinery and equipment as required
• Perform minor equipment repairs and adjustments
• Monitor packaging operations for quality and accuracy
• Follow established safety and production procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

What We're Looking For

• No previous experience required – training provided
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
• Permanent placements are typically on 2nd or 3rd shift
• Availability to work at least 40 hours per week
• Must not have allergies to over-the-counter pharmaceutical products
• Reliable attendance and willingness to learn
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail
