ESOL Certification Preferred. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES A teacher in the Nashua School District is highly qualified for the delivery of specified course content, uses effective strategies for differentiation, interacts positively and professionally, showing respect with students and parents, expects students to learn and not fail. The teacher actively engages students in lessons that are planned around grade‑level expectations and enhance critical‑thinking skills. Instructional strategies contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences. The effective teacher inspires and empowers students in their own learning and collaborates with peers regularly to align curriculum and enhance the instructional environment toward gains in student performance goals.
