Principal Project Manager

Responsibilities Create, document, and maintain formal supply‑and‑demand plans that align with program goals, business‑unit objectives, and corporate priorities. Identify critical material gaps early, develop corrective actions, and recover program schedules and budgets. Continuously assess shifting program needs; prioritize tasks to meet changing delivery timelines and resource constraints. Draft and maintain detailed project plans that integrate supply‑chain milestones with overall program schedules, risk registers, and opportunity logs. Drive end‑to‑end delivery execution across multiple campuses, ensuring that final‑leg shipments meet timing, quality, and compliance standards. Ensure supplier production and shipping schedules with program, business‑unit, and corporate targets; negotiate adjustments to minimize bottlenecks. Identify, document, and mitigate supply‑chain risks; capture and pursue improvement opportunities that enhance cost, schedule, or performance. Partner with PMO, engineering, manufacturing, finance, and other campus teams to resolve issues that span multiple sites and functions. Prepare and deliver concise briefings for internal and external decision‑makers, including manufacturing center of excellence reviews, leadership boards, and customer meetings. Requirements Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience or Master’s degree or in lieu of degree 6 years of experience Experience in Supply Chain, Project Management, Proposals and/or Capture Efforts, Resource Planning, Accounting, Program Management, Program Scheduling, Program Cost Analysis, Finance, Business Management or Material Requirements Planning ACTIVE DoD Secret security clearance and ability to obtain/maintain Special Program Access Experience with SAP or related application software (i.e. ERP, MRP) Hard Skills supply chain management project management resource planning program scheduling program cost analysis material requirements planning risk management negotiation budget management process improvement Soft Skills communication problem-solving prioritization collaboration leadership adaptability analytical thinking attention to detail decision-making presentation skills Certifications and Qualifications DoD Secret security clearance Special Program Access #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
