What You ll Do

• Provide expert clinical care for cardiothoracic surgery patients in ICU, floor, and clinic settings
• Assist in cardiac surgeries, including performing endoscopic vein harvesting and assisting in OR
• Manage and evaluate patients in CVICU, inpatient, and outpatient settings
• Participate in twice-weekly clinics and additional patient care as scheduled
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and healthcare teams in a multidisciplinary environment
• Order, interpret, and evaluate lab and diagnostic tests
• Develop care plans and follow-up strategies, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
• Prescribe medications and perform bedside procedures as needed
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of all patient interactions
• Demonstrate independent clinical judgment under physician oversight
• Continue professional development to meet licensure and certification requirements

What You Need

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Colorado
• Minimum 2+ years in cardiac or cardiovascular surgery and ICU management
• Strong assessment, procedural, and patient care skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
