Responsibilities Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff coordination Supervise and train team members on food handling, customer service, POS systems and safety protocols Manage inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing waste and controlling costs Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality standards are met consistently across all menu items Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and end-of-shift reconciliation Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation Promote a positive team environment through effective supervision, motivation, and leadership Experience Proven management experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably with casual dining or quick service experience Strong background in management Experience supervising staff Knowledge of food safety standards and certifications applicable within the hospitality industry Previous experience in restaurants but not required Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Join a locally owned family business for over 75 years!
