Responsibilities * Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff coordination * Supervise and train team members on food handling, customer service, POS systems and safety protocols * Manage inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing waste and controlling costs * Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality standards are met consistently across all menu items * Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and end-of-shift reconciliation * Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation * Promote a positive team environment through effective supervision, motivation, and leadership Experience * Proven management experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably with casual dining or quick service experience * Strong background in management * Experience supervising staff * Knowledge of food safety standards and certifications applicable within the hospitality industry * Previous experience in restaurants but not required * Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences * Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Join a locally owned family business for over 75 years!
