General Manager

Description Tasks and Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Drive initiatives for business growth and long-term sustainability. Operational Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring operational efficiency. Ensure that all processes and procedures are compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs). Financial Management: Monitor financial performance and take proactive measures to ensure financial targets are met. Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining high‑quality operations. Collaborate with Regional Finance Manager for Americas and their team. Provide strong leadership and direction to department managers and their teams. Quality Assurance: Ensure that the organization consistently meets or exceeds quality standards and customer expectations. Implement and maintain quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives. Supply Chain Management: Optimize inventory management and logistics to ensure the timely delivery of products. Compliance and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment for employees and promote adherence to health and safety protocols. Reporting and Communication: Provide regular reports and updates to Regional Operations Director-Americas as needed. Communicate organizational objectives and progress to employees at all levels. Employee Engagement: Ensure staff employee engagement results are positive and take steps to further improve results. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business management, international business, or a related field. Extensive Senior Leadership experience with progressive managerial responsibilities. Prior experience as Plant Manager; preferably responsible for multiple sites or a campus. Experience with operations, supply chain, quality, customer service, and product lines.
