Litigation Associate Direct CounselLitigation Associate Direct Counsel is partnering with a nationally recognized AmLaw 200 law firm to identify a mid-level associate attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its litigation business unit in Southern California. Candidates must have 3+ years of litigation practice experience and an active California bar license. The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills:Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced, high-volume environmentTrial preparation and courtroom experience, including file responsibility, motion practice, and deposition experienceExperience working with e-discovery softwareExceptional advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skillsStrong academic credentialsDetail-oriented and highly organized with a solid work ethicStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCompensation & Benefits:Salary range: $165,000 – $185,000 annually (DOE).Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.Comprehensive benefits including health insurance with HSA/FSA optionsDental, visionShort-term and long-term disabilityLife insurance401(k)Vacation and sick timeParking/public transportation allowanceEmployee assistance program.
