Executive Recruiter - Legal with LHH | Licensed Attorney in Illinois Location: Chicago, IL Job Description: An Am Law 200 Chicago firm seeks a skilled patent paralegal with 2+ years of patent experience in a law firm to assist with our domestic and foreign patent docket. Salary: $70,000-$110,000 commensurate with experience Responsibilities: Coordinating domestic and international filings with the USPTO and foreign law offices or entities. Maintaining a docket system for due dates related to actions such as responses, renewals, oppositions, PCT requirements, and payment of patent annuities in foreign countries. Preparing and filing various documents with the USPTO or foreign counsel. Preparing correspondence to clients and status summary reports for attorneys and clients. Researching and compiling information on national and international patent rights, including searches of USPTO records, industry databases, and general legal research. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate preferred Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and the ability to work with Innovation, PATTSY, Lexis/Nexis, and other research databases.
