Relationship Manager - (Life & Health License Required)

Overview ADP is hiring a Relationship Manager – Employee Benefits. Position is hybrid: in the office 3 days a week and 2 days from home. In this role, you will serve as the single point of contact for a book of business of group health insurance clients. You will own, manage, and service the entire relationship with your clients by serving as a subject matter expert on Employee Benefits, providing proactive, consultative education and support, and driving client satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. Your daily goal is to manage an assigned book of clients, acting as an insurance/employee benefits expert, providing trusted service and valued insights. You will encounter varied questions and solutions, supported by top-ranked training to set you up for success. You should communicate clearly and professionally over the phone and in writing to facilitate client action and satisfaction. What you’ll do Responsibilities Relationship Management: serve as the client’s primary contact, acting as a liaison and internal client advocate; maintain a comprehensive understanding of each client’s group health portfolio and coordinate communication among business partners; collaborate with ADP partners including Product Management, Implementation, Payroll, Sales, and more; own the client relationship by building trust and understanding insurance needs; provide proactive, personalized, strategic support and act as the primary contact between clients and insurance carriers. Group Benefit Support & Administration: provide insurance expertise by managing benefit renewals, supporting Open Enrollment, and preparing quote proposals and benefit guides; assist clients in designing and implementing employee benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, life, disability, and other ancillary coverages); handle all aspects of renewals, including negotiating with carriers; conduct virtual meetings to review plans and recommend improvements; provide resolution support for benefit service issues; maintain accurate records of client interactions, benefits plans, and compliance documentation. Client Retention: maximize client retention by coordinating with clients, carriers, and external ADP partners to resolve issues; proactively ensure client satisfaction through regular touchpoints and feedback collection; ensure utilization of tools, communications, processes, and metrics for client retention. Requirements At least 2-3 years of related insurance experience Life & Health Insurance Producer License A college degree is helpful but not required. Skills and capability to perform the job are most important. Some roles may include bonus, equity, or commissions. The compensation range is USD $55,500.00 – USD $103,700.00 per year. Actual compensation will comply with applicable wage requirements.
