About the Role:

NBC Orthodontics Incorporated is looking for a detail-oriented and patient-focused Orthodontic Insurance Coordinator to join our growing team in Georgetown, TX! In this role, you'll be the vital link between our patients and their insurance benefits, helping families navigate their coverage with confidence and ease. Responsibilities:

• Verify and process orthodontic insurance benefits, eligibility, and authorizations for new and existing patients
• Submit and follow up on insurance claims, appeals, and predeterminations in a timely manner
• Accurately post insurance payments and adjustments to patient accounts
• Communicate insurance breakdowns and treatment financial estimates to patients and families
• Coordinate with insurance carriers to resolve claim denials, discrepancies, and outstanding balances
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of orthodontic billing codes (CDT) and insurance plan requirements
• Support front office team with scheduling, patient check-in, and financial consultations as needed

Requirements:

• 3+ years of dental or orthodontic insurance coordination experience preferred
• Familiarity with dental/orthodontic insurance billing, CDT codes, and EOBs
• Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dolphin, Orthotrac, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with patients and insurance carriers
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy, patient-centered environment
• Positive, professional demeanor with a commitment to exceptional patient service
