Licensed Social Worker

Position Title Mason Creek Transitional Care of Katy – Licensed Social Worker (Full Time). Location: 21727 Provincial Boulevard, Katy, TX 77450. Must hold the Texas Social Worker License. Responsibilities Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the social service programs of the facility. Assist in the development, administration, and coordination of department policies and procedures. Keep abreast of current federal and state regulations, and professional standards, and make recommendations on changes in policies and procedures to the Director or Administrator. Review department policies and procedures at least annually, and participate in making recommended changes. Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures for identifying medically related social and emotional needs of residents. Interview residents and families to obtain social history. Qualifications Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree. Long‑term care experience or casework experience preferred. Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public. Leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel. Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm; willingness to handle residents at any maturity level.
