Charlotte Materials specializes in Parking Lot Construction, Repair and Maintenance. Our services include Asphalt Paving, Concrete Paving, Sidewalks, Curb and Gutter, Asphalt and Concrete Repairs, Crackfill, Sealcoat, Striping, and Signage. Role Description Charlotte Materials is a leading provider of asphalt and paving solutions across the Carolinas. As we expand our footprint, we’re seeking an Estimator who knows the industry, has strong relationships, and can hit the ground running. We’re looking for a results-driven Estimator with a proven track record in the asphalt and paving industry. The ideal candidate will have deep connections with property managers, developers, and contractors, and will be responsible for generating leads, preparing accurate estimates, and closing deals that align with our growth strategy. Duties / Responsibilities Analyze and interpret blueprints, specifications, and designs for accurate cost estimation Perform material takeoffs and develop pricing proposals for paving/asphalt projects Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and resource planning Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to deadlines on job sites Collaborate with clients, engineers, and vendors for seamless project execution Mitigate risk and troubleshoot issues to keep projects on track Provide progress updates to internal and external stakeholders Generate new business / client prospecting Essential Functions Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and other members of the Charlotte Materials team. Must be able to multi-task and problem solve Must have strong individual work ethic and be ready and willing to learn. Qualifications General computer skills required. Experience with takeoff software such as Bluebeam software preferred, but not required. Construction work experience not required, but a familiarity with job plans and the general construction process is helpful Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to manage tasks independently and perform effectively in a team environment Willingness to travel locally within a 1-hour radius of Charlotte. #J-18808-Ljbffr Charlotte Materials | Asphalt Paving & Concrete
