About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Nuclear Medicine Tech in Thornton, Colorado, 80229!

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive drugs, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, and perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures in a hospital setting in Thornton, CO.

Minimum Qualifications

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
• Current ARRT (N) or CNMT certification.
• Current state license or certification required to practice nuclear medicine in Colorado.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 6 months current acute care nuclear medicine technologist experience. (Client requirement.)
• Experience performing nuclear medicine procedures such as stress tests, HIDA, and brain scans.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Meditech experience.
• Radiation safety and radiation experience.
• Detail oriented, flexible, and able to work in a small team environment.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0800-1600.
• Call requirement: vendor call shift every other weekend.
• Typical unit staffing: two full-time day staff with on-call coverage nights and weekends.
• Patient ratio typically 1:1.
