This individual will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives, improving organizational effectiveness, and helping the company during a pivotal stage of growth.This is a high-impact, highly visible role designed for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving complex business problems, and is excited to help build and scale a fast-growing company from the inside.As a Chief of Staff, you will serve as a force multiplier for the leadership team - helping prioritize key initiatives, improve cross-functional coordination, and ensure critical company objectives move forward efficiently.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Partner closely with the CEO and executive team to drive strategic initiatives and company-wide prioritiesLead cross-functional projects spanning operations, finance, GTM, product, and organizational developmentSupport executive decision-making through analytical modeling, business insights, and strategic researchBuild and maintain operating models, KPI dashboards, and reporting frameworks to support company planning and performance managementAssist in board preparation, investor communications, and fundraising-related workstreamsIdentify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable processes and systems across the organizationOwn special projects and strategic initiatives from conception through executionHelp ensure alignment, accountability, and execution across leadership prioritiesWe know this role isn't for everybody, so this is what we're looking for:Previous experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, strategic finance, business operations, or high-growth startupsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendationsProven ability to operate autonomously and drive projects forward with minimal oversightExceptional communication and organizational skillsHigh level of proficiency in Excel and presentation developmentIntellectual curiosity and a willingness to challenge assumptions and think creativelyComfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with constantly shifting prioritiesWillingness to develop a deep understanding of the real estate and mortgage industry (prior experience not required)Ability to build trust and work effectively across all levels of the organizationDesire to help shape processes, systems, and culture from the ground upWhy Join UpEquity?Being a competitive startup organization, we care deeply about our employees and want to support them both professionally and personally.
