Warehouse AssociateA growing distribution and logistics company is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and material handling activities. This individual will play a key role in ensuring products are accurately received, stored, moved, and shipped while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in warehouse and distribution operations. Success in this role will be measured by productivity, accuracy, safety compliance, and overall operational efficiency.Responsibilities Include:Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments and deliveriesOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move inventory throughout the facilityLoad and unload materials and merchandise from trucks and place them in designated storage areasPick, pack, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipmentTransport products, materials, and inventory to assigned warehouse locationsIdentify and report damaged goods, inventory shortages, and quality concernsAssist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment activitiesMaintain accurate inventory records, shipment documentation, and activity logsInspect warehouse equipment and report maintenance or repair needsFollow all company policies, safety procedures, and operating guidelinesMaintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environmentWork collaboratively with warehouse team members to achieve daily operational goalsAssist with general warehouse duties and special projects as neededPerform any other duties assigned by managementQualifications:2+ years of experience in warehouse and distribution operationsProven forklift operating experience requiredValid forklift certification preferredExperience with inventory management, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processesStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyFamiliarity with warehouse equipment and material handling proceduresAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to follow safety procedures and operating guidelinesBasic computer and inventory system experience preferredAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workdayCompensation & Benefits:Starting pay of $17.50 per hour, plus overtime opportunitiesMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits401(k), paid time off (PTO), and paid holidaysCareer growth opportunities, training, and professional developmentAbout the Company:Our client is a well-established distribution and supply chain organization serving customers throughout the Northeast.
