Production Team Lead

Production Team LeadWe are currently seeking a Production Team Lead. The Production Lead position is responsible for the overseeing and direction of their assigned team, while ensuring production requirements are met. Production Leads act as intermediaries between supervisors and employees, ensuring employees are following their assigned duties, and providing positive guidance in all processes.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily production assisting associates where required which incorporates a hands-on approach combined with positive guidance in all processes.Perform audits on products received, in process or finished to established quality requirements and document on appropriate check sheets.Ensure that all quality records generated as a result of the above actions are completed legibly and filed away or routed to the appropriate location.Ensure associates follow all rules and codes of conduct including incident/accident reporting, documentation and proper care.Other duties as may be assigned.QualificationsEducation: Minimum grade 12 education.Experience: Must have experience in production-oriented environment.Preferred: Previous leadership and problem-solving skills is an asset.Must have valid Michigan Driver's licenseFamiliar with IATF 16949/ISO14001 requirementsDemonstrated organizational, communication and computer skills.Preferred: Blueprint reading a definite asset.Frequent exposure to industrial manufacturing, automotive vehicles, weather elements, chemicals and robotics.Personal protective equipment must be worn at all times on the production floor.Physical Requirements:Positions at JJENA may require the following: alternating between sitting and standing; climbing stairs, ladders, scaffolding or ramps; crouching/stooping; driving; near/far visual acuity; fine motor manipulation; gross motor manipulation; hearing; keyboarding; kneeling; lifting/carrying; moving objects; peripheral visual acuity; pushing or pulling; reaching overhead or below; repetitive task performance; sitting; speaking; standing; using foot or leg controls; walking.Environmental Requirements:Our production facility is a climate-controlled environment. There is no long-term exposure to dangerously loud noise or extreme temperatures.Cognitive Requirements:Cognitive abilities include executing tasks independently; learning and/or memorizing tasks; maintaining concentration/focus on tasks; working with/in close proximity to, other people.Attendance Requirements:All salaried team members are expected to perform their duties/responsibilities in a timely manner.
