Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles. Coordinating and completing annual audits. Providing recommendations for improving systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions. Assigning projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy. Meeting financial accounting objectives. Establishing and maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactions. Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role with strong Inventory accounting Advanced General Ledger (GL) & Excel skills (pivot tables, V-Lookups, etc) A strong understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns. The ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used. A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
