Aligned to Green Dot's Career Framework at the Professional 5 (P5) level, this role applies advanced, specialized expertise in first-line risk management, business controls design, and partner oversight — operating with a high degree of autonomy and influencing outcomes across the Embedded Finance function without direct people management authority. At the P5 level, this individual is recognized as a subject matter authority within the organization — setting the controls strategy for Embedded Finance partner programs, leading monitoring and testing execution, and serving as the primary interface with regulators and internal audit functions on behalf of the first line of defense. This role operates at the intersection of regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and partner risk oversight, building the frameworks, testing cadences, and accountability structures that protect Green Dot's safety and soundness across its embedded finance ecosystem.
