Assembly Technician

Job TitleResponsibilities:Breakout: The operator must read technical schematics and strip the cable to the required length.Prep: The operator must strip the end of the breakout, apply numbered labels, and rubber boots.Cleaving: The operator must cleave the very tip of the fiber using a specialized scope.Polishing: The operator must follow a preset polishing recipe, use proper sanding pads, and ensure no dirt or spots are visible.Testing: The operator is required to test all connectors and ensure they meet testing requirements.Willing to train!Required Experience:Must have a high school diploma or GED.Ability to showcase a positive attitude.Willing to learn and be part of a team environment.Preferred Experience:Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.Ability to read, write and understand English.Familiarity with fiber optics systems and components.Ability to read and interpret technical schematics.Proficiency in connecting, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optics systems.Knowledge of optical fiber testing and measuring equipment.Benefits:Eligibility FIRST DAY for medical, vision and dental benefits!Employee Stock Option Program EligibilityVacation Time...and MORE!Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
