Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract position for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant runs from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027. You’ll work closely alongside a dedicated team to foster positive learning experiences and empower young learners to achieve their communication goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) program
• Possess an active SLPA license or eligibility for licensure in Texas
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Compassion, patience, and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs)
• Support the implementation of individualized education program (IEP) goals for children in kindergarten through 5th grade
• Document student progress, session notes, and maintain records in compliance with federal, state, and school guidelines
• Contribute to team meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Prepare, organize, and adapt therapy materials to suit varied student capabilities
• Participate in ongoing training and meetings to promote best practices in student support
