Data ModelerIrving, TX (3 days onsite - Hybrid) 12 months Web Cam Interview $65/Hr on W2Summary:The position is within ICG Technology, and we are seeking a Data Modeler with strong hands-on experience in developing Conceptual, Logical and Physical Data Model for Wholesale Lending.Candidate must have experience in developing large scale data models that fits multiple lines of business.The work will involve developing strategic state-of-the-art solutions using agile methodologies, micro services and integration with many application/services.Description:Institutional Clients Group Operations and Technology (ICG O&T) develops innovative solutions and provide exceptional service to our clients in full partnership with our product teams.Institutional operations group is responsible for the management and execution of transactions for Markets, Credit Risk, Security Services, Information Services, Private Bank, Treasury and Trade Solutions and Operation Controls and reporting.The technology arm of ICG engaged in the application development and support for various lines of businessesResponsibilities:Identify data and information needs for wholesale lending business of ICGDevelop conceptual, logical models and metadata solutionsPerforming Data Analysis on various data setsDesign and maintain blueprint of the information architecture, data integrations and controls aligned to the renewed business strategyUnify data concepts across disparate front office, credit risk, servicing and reporting functions of ICGDetermine database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications and data from existing systemsParticipate in requirement engineering and working groups and collaborate with business leads, operations, SMEs, technologists and governance teamsDefine, model and rationalize target state solution, socialize with key stakeholders and conduct walkthroughIncorporate data standards and implement governance modelDevelop data flows, ownership matrixes, mapping and data lineageAssist in the implementation of physical data model, contribute to the system and operational design, carry out optimization for usability and performanceQualifications:8-10 years hand-on experience in Data Modeling and implementation using RDBMS - Oracle preferredHands-on modeling expertise using Magic Draw, Erwin or Enterprise Architect and metadata management toolsFinancial industry knowledge in wholesale lending, risk management, servicing and risk/regulatory reportingSQL query knowledge and performing data analysisProduct knowledge in commercial banking, capital and investment banking and marketsExperience in UML/relational/hierarchical/Big Data concepts is a plusPrefer data modelling experience using Magic Draw and Cameo. Utilize Code Engineering Sets to generate executable code or a database script.Write custom macros to efficiently validate and manage data modelsKnowledge of Data Management methodologies involving architecture, modeling, storage, securityPrior experience in data integration, interoperability and data quality solutions.Analytical and problem solver, excellent verbal, written and presentation skillsEducation:Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experienceCertification in Data Architecture / Modeling is a plus
