Job Summary: Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a supportive environment that upholds professional nursing standards and fosters relationship-based care. This role emphasizes best practices and exceptional customer service within acute care settings including labor and delivery, surgery, emergency, intensive care, pediatrics, and more.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage time and resources, prioritizing critical tasks while balancing short- and long-term goals.
• Apply specialized knowledge and technical skills to deliver high-quality patient care and make appropriate assignments based on acuity and expertise.
• Promote a positive patient experience by demonstrating respect, integrity, collaboration, empathy, and professionalism.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff by adhering to safety protocols, reporting incidents, and following regulatory standards.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent experience with at least five years in acute care.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in advanced degree programs accepted.
• Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty credentials.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license as required by the state nursing board.

This position operates on a third shift schedule within a regional healthcare setting in the Midwest United States.
