Job Summary: Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care within a surgery unit, fostering a supportive environment that exemplifies best practices and outstanding customer service. Essential Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage time and resources, prioritizing critical tasks while balancing short- and long-term objectives.
• Apply clinical expertise to make appropriate patient care assignments based on acuity and technical needs.
• Engage in continuous learning and apply evidence-based practices to enhance workplace quality.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or, if unaccredited, a minimum of five years acute care nursing experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in an accelerated MSN program is acceptable.
• Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications.

Active Registered Nurse licensure as required by the state nursing board.
