Job Summary: Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a setting that embraces best practices and exceptional customer service. This role supports relationship-based care and upholds professional nursing standards guided by the ANA Code of Ethics, Nursing Process, and regulatory requirements. The position involves working in acute care environments such as Medical, Surgery, Emergency, ICU, Childbirth, Pediatric, Operating Room, Perianesthesia, Endoscopy/GI, and Cardiac Cath Lab units.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage time and resources, prioritizing critical tasks while balancing short- and long-term goals.
• Stay current with product and practice changes through ongoing education to promote cost-effective care.
• Apply specialized knowledge to make appropriate patient care assignments based on acuity and technical needs.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or, if unaccredited, a minimum of five years acute care nursing experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in an accelerated MSN program is acceptable.
• Area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications to be obtained and maintained as required.

Licensure:

• Current active Registered Nurse license as required by the state nursing board.

This position offers part-time hours with a schedule of 3 shifts per week, including weeknights and every seventh weekend call. The role is based in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
