Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs to create individualized therapy strategies that empower them to achieve their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based approaches to bolster patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily living tasks
• Collaborate in Interdisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide comprehensive, patient-centric care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on therapy practices to facilitate continued progress outside the clinic
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients stay on the right track

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are greatly encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
