Position Information Position/Rank: Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist – Rank depends on qualifications Department: 01277 – Pediatric Behavioral Health City: Salt Lake City, UT Track: Track depends on qualifications New Position to Begin: CY2023 Details The Division of Pediatric Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at the University of Utah, Department of Pediatrics, and Primary Children’s Hospital are looking for outstanding Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists to join our growing faculty. We care for youth in inpatient, crisis, intensive outpatient, and outpatient clinic settings, and we plan to expand services in Lehi, Utah and Ogden, Utah. Leadership opportunities will also be available. We seek psychiatrists interested in working with multi‑disciplinary teams to provide clinical care, educate future health care providers, conduct research, and engage in advocacy. Responsibilities Provide clinical care to youth in inpatient, crisis, intensive outpatient, and outpatient clinic settings. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care. Educate future health care providers. Conduct research and engage in advocacy related to pediatric mental health. Qualifications Board Eligible or Board Certified in both General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
