Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored physical therapy sessions focused on individual patient needs, enabling effective progression towards personal goals.
• Maintain a manageable caseload that allows for focused, high-quality care for each patient.
• Leverage expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to assess, diagnose, and implement suitable treatment plans.
• Employ cost-effective interventions to enhance mobility and function, prioritizing non-surgical methods whenever possible.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription.
• Motivate and support patients through their rehabilitation journey, reinforcing their commitment to treatment and healthy lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support to patients.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to maintain comprehensive patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic conditions, or seeking rehabilitation to improve their overall wellness. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• A strong background and proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Expertise in developing and executing successful patient-centered exercise programs.
• Proficient in using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for accurate documentation and patient management.
• Solid understanding of the latest physical therapy techniques and methodologies, supported by current research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home care or outpatient physical therapy settings is highly desirable.
• History of successful collaboration with other healthcare professionals to manage complex patient cases.
• Knowledge of local healthcare resources and community organizations to enhance patient care continuity.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
