Labor and Delivery Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Nights This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program within three years of assuming the Charge RN position. ~ State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. ~1 year of nursing experience. ~ Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care Women's Care and Infants: Direct care units include Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery - Birth Center, Women's Care and NICU AWHONN's and AACN's practice standards and certifications including RNC-OB, C-EFM, NRP and CCRN guide evidence-based care models Clinical Educators support and guide individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout clinical orientation.
