Operating Room Nurse
This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift: 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM, with expectations of additional hours as scheduled. Candidates must be available for weekday shifts and weekend/holiday on-call responsibilities as per department guidelines.
We are seeking a highly skilled Operating Room Nurse with a minimum of 24 months of recent experience. This position requires a proactive approach to patient care and familiarity with OR procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality care.
- Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions during the surgical process.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum 24 months of recent Operating Room experience.
- Current Active RN license with no hits on state license to practice.
- Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (ACLS, BLS, PALS).
- Driver's License to verify residency.
- Travel experience is highly preferred.
