As a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team, you'll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier.More about our teamJoin Wilson Medical Center's Emergency Department which consists of 26 treatment areas. 20 beds in the main ED, a 6 bay Fast Track area and a vertical flow space. With a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, our diverse staff includes RNs, LPNs, CNAs and Unit Secretaries whose goal is to create a collaborative environment to deliver exceptional care. We take pride in our facility being a Certified Chest Pain and Primary Stroke Center. With an average daily census of 120 patients, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality emergency medical care in a fast-paced environment.How you'll contributeA Registered Nurse (RN), who excels in this role:Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needsIdentifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventionsProvides care appropriate to condition and age of the patientPerforms timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical recordResponsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patientPerforms timely and accurate QI assessmentsWhy join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
